TRANSLATION
Accuracy is just the beginning:
At Idea Institute, our translations are a cut above the rest.
With a proven track record in 80 languages, we have a system in place to accommodate any request.
In translation, there is often the risk that even the same source text will be interpreted differently in different languages, causing divergences in the translated output. For documents like user manuals where it is essential to ensure that the content is exactly the same regardless of the language, we repeatedly check each translation to resolve areas of uncertainty and eliminate any ambiguity so that the translation is uniform in every language. In addition, in areas like movies that require idiomatic translations or commentary considering the cultural context of the target language, we incorporate input from translators and checkers to provide translations ideally tailored to their intended purposes.
Our translations are performed by native translators hired through rigorous screening. To further maintain and enhance the quality of translations, we select the translator with the optimal specialization from our pool and have the translation meticulously checked by in-house staff with extensive linguistic expertise at each stage of the process. We also use computer-assisted translation tools such as Trados Studio and Phrase (formerly Memsource) as well as various original tools developed by our information system department to streamline work and speed up delivery times.
